As a Producer for Soul Sessions, which was a student-led interview series, I played a key role in shaping the creative and logistical direction of the production, from concept to production and publication. Prior to stepping into my position as a producer, I worked as a camera and audio operator on a show, which informed my outlook on visual and sound composition for the show. During pre-production as a producer, I worked closely with my Co-Producer, the host, and the production team to develop episode concepts, manage scheduling, script framing, and assist with run-of-show planning, ensuring each episode aligned with the tone and goals of the series. During production/recording days, I coordinated set design, lighting, and camera angles to enhance visual storytelling and audience engagement. Through in-depth research on interview subjects and facilitated collaboration with a team of over ten student creatives, I helped ensure that each episode delivered meaningful, relevant, and visually compelling content, which helped tell the stories of other students on campus and inspire like-minded individuals.
